The Automatic Weather Station is situated on the summit of Cairn Gorm and provides temperature and wind data every half hour, the data is uploaded to this website regularly.

Status: OK. Motor and slider bearings recently replaced. De-icing fan replaced. See our facebook page for details and updates.

The weather station and camera were set up by funded research projects, which finished a number of years ago. We continue to support these facilities as much as possible but regret that there may well be extended periods when they are unavailable.
