The Automatic Weather Station is situated on the summit of Cairn Gorm and provides temperature and wind data every half hour, the data is uploaded to this website regularly. When available webcam pictures are provided by a camera located in the AWS, with images taken during daylight hours.

The weather station and camera were set up by funded research projects, which finished a number of years ago. We continue to support these facilities as much as possible but regret that there may well be extended periods when they are unavailable.
